Take it all off!

I thought I'd just write during the Cali trip, but for some odd reason I still feel like sharing my life with strangers. I felt like I'd make this one on the topic of hair, since I recently took the plunge and cut off all my below-the-shoulder-length hair into a funky version of the pixie haircut. For all you girls who have thought about doing it but haven't had the guts--DO IT! Seriously. I'll list some pros and cons for you.
PROS:
-It's SO liberating. My previous mornings of wrestling with brushes, blow dryers, and straighteners have disappeared. Basically, I can sleep an extra hour.
-You don't look like every other girl out there with long hair. Come on, long hair can be nice, but it can also be...boring. So the norm. Why not dare to be different?
-If you don't like it, it WILL grow out! May take awhile, but nonetheless it'll grow.
-Can someone say chic model look? ;)
-If you have what my hairdresser says an 'oval face shape' or 'defined features', you'll rock it
-Even on days when you just wanna lounge in sweats and a hoodie, this haircut will keep you looking put-together and ready to go.
-IT'S FUN! Such a confidence boost. I never knew a haircut could impact me so much, but I just feel completely different (in a good way.)

Now for some cons.
CONS:
-If you hate it...you're lookin at at least 6 months of awkward growing out stages to get back to your desired length. (Beware of a mullet)
-There's upkeep involved. You should have trims every 4-6 weeks to keep this cut shapely and nice.
-Um...that's all I can think of. At least in my experience. I'm biased, I love the short hair=D
