Sun poisoning ain't fun

Especially when it's on the tops of your feet...ouch. Today we traveled to Catalina Island via the Catalina Flyer (a rather large ferry). The trip was about an hour and allowed us to watch schools of dolphins jump alongside us in the water. It was so nice. Though we hoped to scuba dive, the place was all booked up. Same with the zip line thing. So we had to improvise. We saw a little kayak rental booth and went with it. Emily and I were in a double kayak while Micah sped along in his own. We got to go off by ourselves along the edge of the island. We found our own little beach to relax at and swim..Though cold, the water was amazingly clear and actually felt pretty good too. Not to mention, while kayaking, a cute seal swam up to us. Seriously! He was within ten feet. I was so excited that I shouted to some other people in the water "There's a seal back there!" Only to remember we were the dumb enthusiastic tourists and the Californians had probably seen a seal up close too many times to count. Oh well. Kayaking in the ocean amongst all the sea life was so amazing, despite the sun poisoning on the feet. I bought some more souvenirs on the island. I finally got myself some things. Two bracelets and and anklet. OH and I got a palm reading done. It was scary cool how accurate the reading was, and it really set my head straight on life. Just overall. Not to say my head wasn't straight before, just now it's more...confident. Is that the word? I have no idea, but I'm exhausted and we're for sure going to Disneyland tomorrow!!!! Last full day here:(
